Warehouse Operator full time

Position Summary

Responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, storing, and staging inventory according to purchase orders, production schedules, and shipping schedules.

Job Position Responsibilities

• Receive in materials as they are delivered from vendors.
• Stage WIP and raw materials for production according to the planned production schedule.
• Shrink wrap and assign storage locations to WIP and finished goods as they are palletized and ready for storage.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move items to and from storage.
• Load product and transport product to offsite warehouse for storage.
• Load finished products for shipping to our customer according to shipping schedule.
• Ensure that all palletized product is packaged neatly on the pallet and in pristine condition before loading onto the truck.
• Maintain warehouse requirements safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Report all accidents or near misses.
• Adhere to all environmental and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• Working knowledge of warehouse operations required
• Forklift experience required
• Drivers license required

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Professional and optimistic attitude, ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to drive a forklift and box truck (CDL not required)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
