Purpose
This role is key to the companies' achievement of World Class Manufacturing. The individual is responsible for providing an asset management service, including; optimal asset integrity and productivity, increased availability and reliability, reduced cost and risk, and improved profitability. To ensure that our Asset Care activities achieve 98% availability and Cpk > 1.66 of our existing and new manufacturing equipment and facilities through the latest maintenance techniques.
Maintenance Electrician
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus On-Call Rota

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Electrician.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing motors, relays, contactors, and overloads.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to identify and rectify issues promptly.
- Conduct wiring and panel upgrades to enhance equipment performance and safety.
- Possess a strong knowledge of 24V control circuits and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Replace software cards and update control systems to optimize machine functionality.
- Implement lockout tag-out procedures to ensure the safety of personnel during maintenance activities.
- Thoroughly inspect and sign off machines electrically to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Take responsibility for training and mentoring electrical apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Keeping stock levels in stores up to date and replacing stock when equipment is low.
- Responsible for contractors on site doing electrical work.

Job description
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. In your role, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient production of our customer products. You will work as part of a team to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a safe environment adhering to safety procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with your team and the engineering teams to root cause and problem solve issues.
- Assist with the introduction and validation of new tooling as required.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner by practicing good housekeeping.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on one's own initiative.
- Day to day maintenance of production lines in a busy environment.
- Troubleshoot processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment problems and make necessary changes to ensure quality and reduce downtime.
- Set process parameters to ensure product meets dimensional and quality requirements.
- Ensure compliance to all related procedures, policies, and work instructions.
- Participate in and support the Quality Management System.
- Support new tool design and development.
- Air, Water and Material supply to machines to be used, monitored, and maintained to the highest standards. PM's to be carried out as required.
- Preventative maintenance approach to be taken with regards to machines and all axillary equipment.
- Ensuring PM plans as per machine supplier recommendations is maintained to the highest level of asset care.
- Promote and support TPM projects within the Plant.
- Train and develop personnel relative to the process, promote employee understanding and adherence to safety regulations and the Quality Management System.
- Develop and maintain a culture of world class preventative maintenance thinking, including Industry 4.0 thinking and projects.

Toolmaker

- To manufacture, repair and service all tools – have the ability to dismantle, clean, repair and reassemble multi-impression tooling.
- Attending Mould breakdowns to identify the root cause and solve the problem including flashing conditions, gating, venting and cooling problems.
- Using machinery such as lathes, presses, milling machines and grinders.
- Work effectively with all team members to assist in the continuous improvement.
- Carry out Preventative Maintenance on tooling as per PM Schedule.
- Any other duties as assigned by the maintenance and Tool Room Manager.
- Maintain Moulds as defined in the General Maintenance Procedure.
- Record all maintenance activity in appropriate files and compile reports.
- Support the spare parts inventory system through assigning of all parts used and scheduled stock takes.
- Ensure the safety of the working area.
- Implement tool room housekeeping practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance to the Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy Management systems.
- Following engineering drawings to measure and mark out the design for the tool.
