On Friday 31st August 2018, Weener Plastics Ltd, Dromcollogher celebrated 40 years in business. Weener Plastics Ltd is the centre of excellence of the Weener Plastics Group for Roll-on Packaging and continues to thrive in business employing over 90 full time staff.

The plant in Dromcollogher opened in 1978 as Form Grinders Ltd. They continued to trade as Form Grinders until 2005, when they changed the company name to Weener Plastics Ltd due to new ownership.

On the day of the 40th anniversary celebrations Weener Plastics entertained past & present staff members, suppliers and members of local businesses and the local community. The day consisted of a sit down meal, speeches from members of the board, management, local politicians and also the local priests. This was followed by presentations to staff members, the blessing of the building, the reopening of the factory and also the unveiling of our new history wall.

Weener Plastics are very grateful to everyone who joined them for the celebrations and look forward to what the next 40 years bring.
