Weener Plastics (WP), part of Silgan Dispensing since October 2024, is thrilled to announce that it has successfully retained the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum rating for sustainable leadership. With an impressive overall score of 81 out of 100 points, we are honored to be ranked among the top 1% of all companies rated by EcoVadis worldwide.

This prestigious recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to responsible business practices and underscores how our corporate values 'We Care - We Inspire - We Deliver' guide our daily operations, contributing to outstanding achievements. We have continued to perform consistently in the three EcoVadis key pillars - Environment, Labor & Human Rights, and Ethics - reflecting our steadfast commitment to excellence. We are particularly proud to report significant improvements in the fourth key pillar Sustainable Procurement, demonstrating our ongoing efforts to enhance our supply chain's sustainability.

WP's Sustainable Procurement program revolves around three core elements: Responsible Procurement, Supplier Engagement, and Supplier Selection & Evaluation. This program also emphasizes the importance of human rights within our supply chain. We have integrated environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, ensuring our partners align with our sustainability goals.
